BTARS-NA5DV participated in the December 2nd, 2006, U.S.S. Texas observance of Pearl Harbor Day.

BTARS-NA5DV has participated in this event for the past six years. Sixty contacts were made on 20 and 40 meter ssb and cw with various amateur radio stations throughout the United States. The four radio amateurs who operated NA5DV were (in random order) Bruce Wright, WC5CW; Bill Stientenroth, K5ZTY; Frank Cooper, W5VID; and Reid Shipp, WA5ARI. Note the video clips near the end of the page.

A special QSL card is available for those stations who contacted NA5DV. Please send a SASE to Frank Cooper, NA5DV Trustee, 4215 Ravine Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546.
